You only have one set of lobes, it's not primaries then vtec, just vtec lobes....

You have them mixed up. There is no vtec lobe with these cams just primaries.
This cam kit eliminates vtec.
When they are installed the vtec followers are removed.

Re: Vtec Killer Cams (Hella_JDM)
There was a huge write-up on these cams a LONG time ago. I believe the topic was started by len. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong.
Cams sounded nasty in the video.

Way too much duration to run boost with these cams.

Re: (sheepey)
So what kind of fuel managment and CR would be needed to run these cams? I really don't know much about them but my friend keeps talking about them non stop and I've been trying to tell him that these are for serious set ups only.

Actually, yes they are hollow...if you had ever held one you will realize the weight difference compared to a normally ground camshaft. As someone mentioned before the evo uses the same design of cam. These too are ground from a hollow blank
Im surprised those cams are supporting a high boost race engine, it would be interesting to test some different cams to see how much more power you could create...maybe you could break 1000?

12:1+ and i would run a fully programmable system to tune it. Your low load low rpm section is gonna be the trickiest part to tune out but it can be done.
