i Dont run mine witha filter, but i dont drive it EVERY day.. semi drive it everyday.. But.. its probably one of the best investments u can do power wise.

Re: velocity stack question (Ryanwill86)
i ve used the stack and filter on 4 different setup .. it made more power with the filter off on 2 setups , and on the other 2 , it did absolutely nothing .. only way to find out is the dyno .. on the one that i gained , it was a back to back pull with no additional tuning .. it gained 6whp and 4 tq. hope that helps

a SRI with a V Stack makes a big diff. I talked it over with IntegraType-R and decided I would try it out since I have a tq less wonder and any additional power would help. My car seriously moves now on a roll with me running 87oct mind you. I probably spent about $65 on my setup from your local autozone/o'reilly's. I just need to find a filter to throw on there. Wish I had some cams to get some more benefit out of the motor.

Hey guys,
Maybe i didn't search hard enough, but for those who have the BPI stack; does it work well on an AEM 3" CAI? or is the stack best saved for the short ram intakes with minimal bends?
sorry if this is a dumb question.

Not trying to thread jack but will this thing fit my AEM Gsr intake? I mean the Gsr is in my EJ8 but it already came with a AEM intake which i believe its for the Gsr. Its a short ram. But since i read this is a 3" intake setup i was wondering if i had to purchase another piping which i would really not want to have to do. Unless i sell it. LoL

Re: (gutted-dx)
I got Brian Pendelum's Stack (BPi) and got the K&N filter with it on a 3" ebay pipe. best investment for my 1.9L 12.2:1 B series.
for all of you wondering if they'll fit "XXX" intake- it fits on the end of ANY 3" or 3.5" diameter pipe!
BUT
works best on a SRI... length is designated on the dyno.

Re: (gutted-dx)
jhpusa.com has free shipping right now, I picked up the blox v-stack and filter combo, I think it was $69 total, bought a $8 package coupler/clamp deal from autozone.
