I'm a machinist so all the labor porting, boring, milling is free and with that high of a compression I don't think it ill be that hard to hit that 180whp mark.

Looks like a good build, not sure if E85 will have enough octane to run the timing that the engine wants but would be a start. Keep us posted!

I had a similar set up but with a mild d16A6 piston and 23cc chamber and it ran great but this time around i desided to run a little more compression...

you are not planning on using pump e85 are you?
I ask because you have to be careful with what you are actually receiving at the pump.
I'm curious to how the cam degreeing will work out.

Maybe you should be playing with a piston more like this.
This is what I have been using in one of my d15's. Stock rods & rod bolts. Milled head , .005 off the deck. This is what 17:1 actually looks like.
It will not run at all on 92octane. It will get itself out of the garage with 100octane. But it loves 114.
I have done the p29 setup and found that the aftermarket (ebay) p29's have very weak ring lands.

Hahaha Blake. I cant remember. I did weigh them when I got them back in 09. This was the first set that ARIAS actually made specific for the d15. A lot has changed in the last 4 years thats for sure. My next set will be much lighter I am sure.
The engine has been together since 09 and have never had any issues. I like reliability.
