Strong N/a D16a6 non vtec
Just got build done and tuned.. Used a 88 d16a6 no vtec 22mm crank snout bastard of a Honda motor but turned out pretty good!
cp 11/1 pistons 75.5mm
stage 3 cam 400 lift
head work
bisimoto header
y8 intake manifold b18 throttle body
tuned by churches in La on 7/13/13
bottom end done by golden eagle top end done by R/D spring
157whp 140 wflbs on 91 octane
Ive only done b series before but thought id try a D

i'm not even going to argue with you again on this....you said this was a SHOP project not "you did this in your garage" and look how much power I got from it. again can't see the sheet but I do believe you and it is pretty impressive.

its not a shop project my brothers a engineer he designs valve springs and head work for race cars we built the head it was his design. we put it together in garage not shop. golden eagle did bottom we did top. to build motor was bout 3k. it makes so much torque because of the header design and porting. R/d spring is company my bro works for its a family business. from indy cars to nascar motorcycles Hondas anything its a little shop at my bros house

I will scan dyno chart and repost it.. trying to get more Honda business so I wanted to show people how much power we can make on pump gas with one of Hondas weakest motor.. we can get way more from b series with compression for pump gas.

I like it.
always wanted to do one just for fun but not invest that much into it as you have in yours.
I'm sure others will come on here and say you would of been smarter using different platform. But I like it, it's something different & as long as you enjoyed building/racing it that's all that matters.

I Like B Series Best But Just To Try Something Diff . Did A D.. Theres Junkyard Parts On It As Well Intakemani And Sorts.Its Built For Nitrous This Was Dynoed With Cold Plugs And Mild Timing For Juice.. Going To Spray 150 Directport When I Hit 1000 Miles. Hard To Wait. Does Anyone Know Where 1/4 Mile Track Is In So Cal? I Only Use To Race At LaCr But Its Gone And So Is irwindale

It is interesting how you said it is non Vtec but you have the Vtec change over drop in the dyno chart and right at the correct RPM for Vtec to engage. That dyno looks very similar to my LS Vtec dyno. Unless this motor was bored and stroked like crazy I just dont see a D series could make that much TQ NA. Dyno sheet looks way to much like a Vtec motor and a motor bigger than 1.6L.

It Has Stage 3 Bisimoto Cam Which Is Actually Made By Webcam.. The Dip Is MOst Likly Caused By The Intakemanifold Haveing 4 Nitrous Nozzles ShoveD Right In Front Of Valves And Air Being Distored At Certain Rpm.. And Yes This Is Legit Stock Stroke And Bore D16a6 Non Vtec.. I Will Post Pic Of Engine In Car.. Church Was Impressed As Well And Asked What Compression It Was He Was Amazed It Is Only 11 To 1.. It All In The Ports And Flow Testing To Match The Right Parts.

Hit The Nitrous Lastnight For First Time 75Shot To Start With But Im Having Problems With The Summit Racing Window Switch It Turns Off When I Shift Gears Even When Im Within The Set Rpm Range Has Anyone Used These Before? I Just Bypassed It And Works Fine Spinning All The Way Into 3Rd On Street Tires.

Please be sure and have it tuned for the spray. I hope for the life of your motor that you went with a dry kit and are adding fuel with larger injectors all tuned for when the spray is on. I have seen too many motors blow up from just slapping on a wet kit and going.

Im Obd0 I Cant Have A Nitrous mapI Put On Wet Directport But The Dyno Sheet U See Is With Retarded Ignition Mapping And 12 1 Fuel Ratio It Could Have Made More Na Power. And Yes Going Back To Dyno On Nos To Be Safe Will Post Dyno Sheet Next sunday
