HPFs testing ID2000's vs 1000CC injectors and explaining how important the spray pattern, actually is.

Here's one of some RDX injector flows

Very excited to switch out these RC's for the RDX's, really informational stuff I came across and thought i would share for the vast majority to take in.

Re: Some injector Videos
watched this video earlier today at work, very nice!! wonder what 1000cc injectors he was using for the test *cough RC cough* they locked up in a heartbeat as soon as he upped the fuel pressure. I will never use another RC injector, had a SL4-750 lock up on my friends motor and crack a sleeve.

Those injectors flow an insane amount of fuel! I still want me some ID725 or ID1000 for my build. RDX injectors made 5WHP more on my friends bolt on build simply due to the spray pattern! Amazing what something so simple can do!

Re: Some injector Videos
Thanks for sharing ALLMOTOR. Good information.
Remember that the RDX injectors are specifically designed for HONDA by Denso. They are used on the K23 Turbo. The injector tip to valve distance and angle is different than on an H or B series engine.
Is this a better injector than the Lucas type injectors at our cars come with, absolutely.
Would love to see an RDX vs ID725 or ID1000 test some day. It is probably only a few 3-5 hp difference, if that.
Glad I purchased some ID725's to go with my custom GSR manifold.

Re: Some injector Videos
I wish I had the time to experiment with different fuel pressure settings on my car, to see if I'd gain a few more HP at higher settings. My gut feeling says I would...

Re: Some injector Videos
I believe the IDs were mocked up after the rdx's, dont quote me on that though.. The RDX's will provide better spray pattern, and more fuel vs the RC at whatever fuel pressure u wanna run. Although they are 410cc's, they will flow more then the 440ccs from RC.

Re: Some injector Videos
After doing some research and finding out how much the ID's are, I will be ordering the RDX's next week. MAYBE switch to the ID725's once I go to setup my spray later on in the year.

Re: Some injector Videos
you can get the BOSCh ev14 48mm almost at the same price... bosch injectors direct from oem suppliers for ford, gm or hyundai...the #47lb at 39.15psi, at 43.5 psi, they are around 520cc/min, you can get them at around 45 each...
just have to look at the right places...the part number for the bosch 47lb is cm-5136 from motorcraft (ford) or ford racing M-9593-G302 , you can look up for the 8 pack , they are a 230 us shipped, just get someone else to buy you the other 4 and that would mean you just really wasted 115us on 4 bosch injector 520cc/min, sum the uscar/ev6 pigtail ( 5us x 4 = 20us ) + 4 injectors adapter (14mm to 11mm, 40 us) , that will sum up around 175 us -180...
you have #47lb injectors(39.15psi rated by ford) or 520cc/min at 43.5 psi...
tired of the ripoff for some injectors...i really think they can sell it for a lot less and still make a decent gain...
how is it ford resellers sell them at 230 per 8 = almost 29 us each...and still make profit...and this honda sellers sell them for twice the price...
pm me if you want any more info, dominicano del diantre ahahhaha...tired of these sellers...
that's the setup i'm going with my 1.8 l...shoud be enough for boltons and a port and polished head...

Re: Some injector Videos
Right now i'm running my 440cc's @ 55psi base pressure, to answer golding's question. I plan on running the RDX's at 60. As i can see, from the video, these type of injectors love pressure and produce a better pattern at 50+psi.

Re: Some injector Videos
I have run ID725cc units @40psi for 12 months on both normal fuel and E85 I know if I used higher pressure there is more power but I was using S200 so no deadtimes or other corrections could be changed. My new K setup will be a different story ID1000cc and Kpro with a 100psi fuel system in place.
