Default RMF Headers......

I called Importpowerhouse and asked about the RMF headers...... I told Eugeue that I have a H23 VTEC not H22 VTEC and he said they only make it for H22's..... I asked him if the H22 header would fit and work with my H23 VTEC motor and he said NO.... I find that really strange.... does any1 have any information about H-series motors and what is inter-changable..?? I figure it should fit but that's only me what do you guys think.,..

Randy should be able to make you a custom header. If thats what you want, PM him. His screen name is RMF.

If not take a look here:
http://sms-products.com/Headers.html

Dave is building me a custom header for my stroked motor.

h22 and h23 heads are interchangeable so i dont see why the exhaust bolt patern would be different... should work

So if the bolt pattern on the H22 is identical to my H23 bolt pattern I can get the RMF header... If that's the case Ill just ask for the H22.... does any1 have n e suggestions on looks he was saying there are different types the only 1 I am familiar with is the Narrow style... But back to what I was saying so if the bolt patteren is indeed the same there should not be a problem right.......

H22 heads and H23 heads have different bolt patterns and port spacing for the header. Their headers are not interchangable.

However your H23 VTEC doesn't really have a H23 head with all of it's messed up ports.
It's the same head as the one on a H22. That's why in your other thread people are telling you H22 cams will work, and the same goes for the header. Just throw on a H22 one and you'll be in business.

The H22 and H23 are not even close to the same flange. BUT I do have some H23 flanges. I will see if the flange will fit in my jig. and if it does then no problem.

if you have a h23vtec, that clearly means the head is the same as an h22, so just order that.

I just noticed you can't get PMs. It would be 700 for a 1 piece and 800 if you have a full size radiator.Because it has to be 2 piece.

Yah sorry about that... I'm still on trial.... Well for the radiator I just have the stock Del Sol Rad its really small and about 6 inchs long... but I plann on getting a dual core rad so I don't know if that will effect the header... how long does it usually take to make.. and is that price american...
