Resonators disrupt flow for NA h22 motor build?
Hey guys this is my second h22 build and was curious if anyone has seen differences on a dyno with the addition of extra resonators? I purchased a 3" mandrel bent exhaust that already has a 14" resonator yet i want to keep it as quiet as possible. I have 2 extra 12" resonators that I can have fabbed to the exhaust with the addition of a flex pipe. All exhaust parts are 3" as well yet every motor I've had tuned has made the most power open header leaving me cautious to possibly disrupting velocity/flow in the exhaust system.
My build is a h22 jdm stock block black top with a modestly ported/polished head with skunk pro series valvetrain, skunk pro 1 cams, rbc intake manifold, rdx injectors, qsd k2h adapter plate, 68 mm omni tb, hytech replica tri y header, 3" intake with velocity stack.
Any advice would help i know there are plenty of h22 NA gurus on here that have some experience with this topic.

The flex pipe is more likely to cause a restriction than a resonator will... especially if the resonators are of the perforated variety. Louvered ones will create some flow disruption. It would not be uncommon for a properly sized full exhaust system to make slightly less wheel HP than an open header... but you have to give to get. If you want it quiet, you will sacrifice a few ponies. Maximum power always means loud.

Installed the tri y header and 3 inch exhaust and couldn't be any happier, the car accelerates like a beast. I don't know any other tuners to have 3 resonators on an exhaust, the noise level is near silent at a constant speed and doesn't drone on the freeway. Yet I'm not going to lie it's still pretty loud under load or heavy throttle.
