quick boost...?

What would be the cheapest route for a lil more power for a stock 95 civic lx? i was thinking about getting a vtec head for it, but just wanted to get some opinions...

sorry, but i think the best thing for you to do, especially if you want to go all-motor, is get a engine swap.

try to get an EX transmission.....or better yet, get the whole swap.

The 25 extra horsepower, and the much better gearing will feel wonderful.

that's not exactly quick and easy tho.
