Default question about a sesonator...?

well i have a 95 tegi
with 2 1/2 straight pipe.
i jus put 4-1 headers on nd it sounds more of a fart can. its annoyinnn
i was wondering if i put a aftermarket resonator on it, will it be much quieter and/or would i feel power loss wit it onn.?

thankss

Just from personal experience, I did the same thing on my 2000 Si. DC 4:1 header with the 2.5" outlet, straight piped all the way to a straight-thru vibrant muffler....sounded like ***.

I added a 2.5" cat for a v8 and it still sounded like ***. Then I added a resonator and now I think it sounds pretty mean for a 1.6 liter.

Highflow cat and resonator ideally or the longest resonator you can install in there. Power loss isn't usually an issue.

so yu put all of that and then sounded better wit the resonator.?
or yu took em off and left it only with the resonator.?
