Prelude LMAs, which year?
Getting ready to purchase new lmas for my b20vtec. Just wanted to double check, is it the 97 and up H22a lmas that are compatible with the b-series motors? I already know I'll need to buy a set of 8 washers (1/4" with .040" thickness) to make up for the gap. TIA

Re: (doood)
Yeah I know aggresive cams require stiffer LMA's however they cost quite a bit of money and they really are just to quiet down the motor. There is no other reason they are there other than quite down the lifter. If you took them completly out you would have some issues. Also depending on what cam your using you will just break the new ones after a while anyway. Doesnt a whole set from Honda cost like 800?

Prelude LMAs are cheap!
OP: Make sure they give you the spring type LMAs (98lude?), and you know that you'll need a .040" washer under the LMA to raise it up.
They work great in my motor!

from driving my car everyday, i notice my engine few a little heavy after the install. maybe due to prelude lma's being stiffer. im running itr cams
yes i know what lma's are..change them out because i thought mines were making noise

and you automatically assume the lma's cause this? did you adjust the valves?

yes, it felt like running an aftermarket header in a allmotor car and then taking it off the header and driving it afterward. maybe due to stiffer lma's.. valves adjustment did not change
