Default PRE any good.

Looking to maybe have Prodigy Race Engines build me a motor for racing would be a Na b series build. Has anyone had work done by them are they worth the money for the valve job and full build? Any help would be great done want to spend thousands if I can have someone else do it better.

My head is headed to them right now for a rebuild and a valve job. I haven't heard anything negative about them.

I know they are a small shop. Not as famous as 4 piston yet. Just wanted to see if anyone had great success with them and if they know what they are doing when it comes to a race motor for relablitly and getting good numbers.

I don't know about race engines, but those guys have some pretty nice builds on here. Look up slowsleeper on here and you can find some of there work.

They're small but good. I've personally sent 2 cylinder heads to them for a valve job and some port work. I know there's a few people on here that had work done by them also

PRE is a very good shop, one of the only places I will recommend to people aside from the "big" companies. I'm running their VJ on my build. Stock ports....made great power. Stand up guys. You won't be disappointed. My car is on their FB page in a dyno vid

Just take a few minutes and search some of their builds. Some of the highest power budget builds on this forum come out of their shop.

OK I'm just looking for a reliable place to build a motor that knows what to do. Don't want someone just slapping parts together like I've had in the past. Want this engine to last more then one race season. Also what's the best way to ship my motor to them. Is it cheaper to split the head and block into two separate shipments?

Are you sending them a complete long block? Or just a bare head and block w/ rotating assembly?
