Well it's not an EG but my friend has a 91 dx crx(maybe about 250 pounds less than a cx eg?) with a b18a1 with a ractive intake made for the stock dx motor, a chikara header and a ractive exhaust. On his girls stock sel sol rims with drag radials ran a 9.6 in the 1/8 with lots of spinning in first and a little in second. AND that was his first time at the track. That's pretty good if u ask me. He was spanking all the egs out there with modded b16's (not dissing b16's by any means). Non vtec b18's arent slow...as some people make them out to be.

My friends 96 ran 15.3 @ 88. Probably weighed 2300 without driver. My 92 ran 14.9 on its best day downhill with the wind behind it. The motor was old though and was pretty ragged. I bet you could hang out a 14.6 with a great launch and a 2000lb car.

everyone else with this engine/car setup is running 15.00-14.50. But your friends majicaly runs 13.6 with mostly cams (because springs and retainers don't make HP)

Yah....

Go to the all motor LS discussion. There are people in there that have ran 12's on stock bottom end LS's.
