Possible P2V clearance problems.

Possible P2V clearance problems.
I have a B20V motor. recently i was driving and the Crank pulley some how came loose and fell off. I pulled over immediatly. Before it fell off it started making this grinding noise, which made me believe i spun a bearing. i checked the timing when i got home and it was still on time. so i put the pulley back on and started the car and the grinding noise was still there, i revved the motor higher and then the belt came really loose and the sound got worse.even though the belt became loose it stayed on time. but there was play in the cams. when i rev it and hold at a certain rpm it goes silent, ie. if i rev it to 5k and hold there the sound is gone. am i having problems with my p2v? or what do you think is going on.

Hmm, it sounds more internal. It seems there's clearance somewhere on the crank. Seems like rod bearings, but I checked them today. When I turn the crank I here and feel a little clearance.

it seemed that somehow my flywheel came loose from my crank. Its the second time this happened and idk why. i will use loctite for re-assembly and it should be fine. some of my cam cap bolts were loose and my crank pulley bolt came loose to, has anyone ever had this problem before thanks.

i have wiseco pistons and eagle i h beam rods, with an unbalanced rotating assembly,(its at OEM specs.). i didnt weigh them before installation either. think that could be the problem? to much vibration possibly if there out of spec. ive read so much about balancing and some people say do it and other say dont, these pistons and rods are supposed to be balanced already from dealer. so idecided not to do it because its not a track car. more of a weekend car and i dont even line it up with anyone.
