Icon6 Poor mans type R advice

Hi all, kinda new to this set-up.

I have a 98 spec JDM Sir Integra. (OBD2 set-up)

B18C Block
B16a2 (p30) Pistons
b16a2 head
Factory p30 head gasket
Type R Intake Manifold.
Y80 Gearbox
Also running ITR loom,dizzy,alternator.

Ive had a search around but still a bit confused considering so many different style poor mans itr set ups there is.

Will this setup be ok? what compression am i looking at and what ECU should i use. I have factory p72 ecu and a 98 spec JDM ITR ECU. And is it better to change to 98 spec ITR Cams?

Thanks any advice is considered.

Dude, have you done any prior research to this? Is there something wrong with your p72 head so your looking to get a pr3? If your dead set on not getting it tuned to run right a itr ecu would be "better" then a p72

Yes but most people tend to run itr or ctr pistons and cams, im doing the hybrid setup possibly to gain some more power. Im hoping the p73 ecu will be enough to run it ok. If not then ive been told to get chrome.

NONE of the ECU's you have will run your setup. Get it properly tuned.
Also. Id slap a ls 89mm crank and some ls rods with arp rod bolts. IMO

Don't use the terms "Poor Man's Type R" and "Hybrid", you sound like an idiot. Get a tune also a stock ECU will obviously not run that setup properly.

update :

Car up and running now. Im amazed how much power this car is making. Its faster than my type r and my mates k20a dc5r. Compression is around 11:3:1. Exhaust is standard and its not even tuned yet. But drives really nice and idles fine with the itr ecu.

I'm building a poor man r also in my civic si em1
I got a gsr stock bottom end. Any advice on what parts I should change out beside piston? Thanks. I'm also using a stock b6a2 head with gsr dual retainers and ctr camshaft. And ctr manifold.
