Default Passing smog with a ported head?

Will a ported head pass smog with all the stock emissions equipment?


I have to replace my headgasket and wanted headwork done but I havn't had a chance to get it bar'd (live in ca) Engine is a GSR w/ usdm itr pistons.

you'll be fine.

what i find ironic is that you're asking us if this will pass but you're not worried about the itr pistons

really though, fine.

hook up all the emissions and then get two cats installed. it is perfectly legal as long as the second cat is after the original cat

compression should be around 10.8:1 only .2 higher than a jdm gsr so I'm not worried about that.

Any good head porters here in the bay area? only one i heard of is DNR.

As long as you are running a stock ecu, stock cam and all your emissions equipment is intact and functional, you should be fine.

thank goodness i dont have to worrie bout any of this crap i live ina county called st.marys in maryland we have no emissions no nothin once u get tags u can do as u wish i have a chipped ecu no emissions junk what so ever b20vtec in my sol... butt good luck with bar

Redzone in Fremont (I could be wrong though).
