Hi, I need a little more room between the crank pully and the frame rail of the car that I am installing a single cam 1500 into. Is there a different pully available? It looks like the three slots are for the alternator, power steering and air. I will not be useing power steering on my ride. Just the alternator and air are needed. In advance, thanx for any and all info. Here is a pic to better see what I am talking about. Thanx again.

How about having the outer rib machined off?
I would stay away from any "lightweight" crank pulleys, or anything without a damper...

How much more room do you need?

Is this going into a Fiat? Thats pretty cool if it is!

Wow, good guess, unleess you got that off my sig. I guess that would work. Would the middle section work with the ac belt? I need what ever room I can find. As its gonna sit in the car, there will need to be some trimming aroung the end of the trans. I will also need to relocate the gas tank so the turbo fits as it was built on this set up. Thanx for the quick response. Hopefully tommrow I can start to figure out the mounts.

Actually, I dont know if this motor is v tech. I dont think it is. Originall I was installing a b16 type R. But I traded it for this set up a while ago.

Maybe you could modify the AC compressor brackets and run a single serpentine belt to run both accessories?

I suppose you could use the middle section for the AC, but you may want to change pulley diameters so everything turns about the speed it was designed to operate..

Turbo Honda powered Fiat....Now that sounds like a fun little car... I been wanting to do something like this with a Porsche 914...

Also check out the welding/fabrication section. Lots of creative minds in there too.

Yes I did, It was a Type R too. I know it was a gem of a motor, but this single cam isnt your run of the mill single cam. It was specifically built as a turbo motor by someone who knows what they are doing. It blew up three transmissions before the guy finally broke down and built a trans designed to handle the motor. It also has an lsd already init. So it really wasnt a hard decession.
