Default octane with 14.5.1 compression

Is 93 octane sunoco pump gas able to be run with such high compression ? Car will also get occasional 100 shot of spray.

hahahhahahaha you have alot too learn if ur asking questions about that high compression and octane.93 wont even support that without the nitrous Id run c16 with that or a blend of c10/c16

100 octane just to run the engine alone. I don't even know with a shot-o-gas on 'er. I'm not sure what c16 is. I'm not a race fuel expert. But I do know its gonna take 100 octane to run all motor.

Is this a street car or a drag car?

I wouldn't be so sure that even 100 octane will take care of 14.5-1 in all conditions. I have around 13:1 now and I only run 100 octane (it MIGHT be a little overkill, I could probably mix it with 94) --I would at least do some more research.

100 octane wouldnt even do it. 14:1 compression is not a street motor. Thats a race only motor no matter how you look at it. You would have to run atleast 114 to get it from not pinging. Unless your a Bill Gates baller, driving around everyday pumping 114 would be just stupid. Beside your motor wouldnt last to long anyway. High compression motors dont tend to have a long life line.
