Update,

Put the car on the rollers yesterday to tune the car and then a dyno run. Ran into 2 small hurdles there.

1> The dyno software being old was somehow not calibrated to read past 8000 rpm. This is the only dyno in my city so stuck.

2> The mechanic who was supposed to be on standby at the dyno workshop pulled a disappearing act and hence we couldn't fiddle with the cams, they have not yet being degreed and are set at OE cam specs.

Anyways we spent a good 2 hours on the dyno and have taken many videos which I will upload shortly.

Car was tuned on 91 Octane fuel and the tuner made a street map for me and said he has kept a safety margin in the tune of about 10-15% since it was a new motor and he did not want to push for a aggressive map at this stage.

Will upload the dyno chart as well.

Lemme know what you guys think of the same.

The car is going back on the rollers for few more runs after fiddling with the cams.

Is it true that ITB aren't good for stock engine ?
I heard some one saying this and i was wondering why ?

Depends on the engine and the ITB's being used. Throwing a set of 50-55mm throttles on a sub 2.0L stock engine with 8.8:1 compression. Wouldn't be what I would consider a good setup.

Alright guys I can finally contribute to this thread after trolling for so long. Got my itb's installed yesterday and tuned into the night. Here is a run down on the setup, things i noticed, and results. I switched to these because every intake manifold I had used with these cams was dropping back into vacuum toward redline, sometimes as much as -1inhg. I suspected this was do to a resonance problem due to high overlap.

Power parts:
B20v w/gsr crank and b16 head
Toda type C2 billet cams
supertech flat valves stock diameter
12.5:1 compression
RMF header
RDX 410cc injectors at 60psi
Stock port work

First thing I noticed when getting them was that the throttle linkage was much better than the obx itb's we use for the s2000, so i was happy about that. The porting was just as bad tho, so I spent a good amount of time porting and gasket matching my hondata gasket.

I synced them on the bench first (usually pretty easy if you use a feeler gauge on the throttle plate).

Install was a bit tricky compared to other systems. My pedal ratio was all off and they would only open about 80% at first, I used my stock crx throttle cable and just extended the mount. So after some throttle pedal manipulation I got it working all the way to WOT.

Another thing, there are two places to mount your tps (mine came with honda adapter). At first I had it just slightly preloaded on the first set of holes, this cause the tps not to have enough resolution and all the part throttle didn't work well. So I used the second set and re-calibrated, and I had a great full sweep.

Last real problem I had was idle, DO THIS STEP BEFORE INSTALLING LIKE ME! Because these are basically factory throttle body cores from toyota, they have individual idle screws. The injector housing installed on them cover these screws, and well needless to say they couldn't be adjusted and were letting massive amounts of air through.

I had to grind the injector housing to allow adjustment of the screws, so I could turn them all the way down. I then just used the main throttle screw in the center of the itb's for idle. This makes for a much better idle since the injectors are pre-throttle on these systems. When the screws are used the fuel must travel through the idle ports into the chamber.

For fine tuning of the idle I used the S300 timing advance/retard and gave it ten degrees to use in either direction, so far it idles well at 1200rpm. Which is where I was with these cams and most other manifolds.

Tuning wasn't bad if you have tuned ITB's before, I used the hondata itb base map and just started going through the cells. I didn't have enough time to go all out on the partials, so there are some rich spots still.

Heres the good news, going in I was making 227/154 and horsepower was peaking out right at redline (9k). Now the car sustains power much better, and gained a good amount of power with cylinder charging not being a problem. My preliminary runs ended up at 239/167. Please note these cams are designed for itb's, so the results are probably greater than others might experience.

Because of the airflow I was able to lower vtech from 6k to 5400rpm, this allowed the car to make over 200whp from 6400-redline. Before this didn't take place till 7200rpm.

In all im pretty happy with the setup, I need get a new wiring harness and clean some stuff up but they are working well. In my case it was well worth the money! I will post some before and after graph pics later today or tomorrow!

Mine at idle.

Never really had any major issues with the injectors like stated above..
I highly suggest using TPS across the board also for these itbs.

After i get off the Dyno, and make a few passes at this up coming IFO, i will be selling my ITBS.

They will come with everything, but injectors, and TPS. They are Ported and bored to around 52mmish.., they are port matched to a hondata gasket and GSR head/runners. They are powdercoated money green on stacks/fuel rail. Vac box will also be included.
I'll be asking 650 shipped for the setup, Everything is already synced.. All you will need to do is adjust throttle cable, setup TPS correctly and tune. I get 0-101% readings through neptune.

As most of you know, i'm constantly doing R/D on setups, specially with my camshaft profiles, i'm now doing some testing on a Special manifold i'm going to be trying. With that said, there's nothing wrong with these things, i should be asking more considering the porting/matching work is worth that. But i believe this is a fair asking price. I will consider partial trades for a Nice fuel rail, 70+mm TB + cash on your end.

I'm having an issue with injectors on these itbs. I have a set of fuel injector clinic 650cc, but they are short. Is there an adapter I need or another type of injector I have to get?
