Default new school meet old school induction

me and my dad have been thinking about building a h22 with some mekuni side draft carbs hangin off of the side...thats right getting rid of the EFI witch means building an intake So im on here to find out what would work and what wouldnt...all help with this brain stormed idea of a one of a kind will be nice!

mechanical fuel injection would be way cooler... and manifolds for that already exist.

You must be a little slow... It was a joke. I personally have been running dual carbs since the 80's... Carbs are nothing new on Hondas.

so it HAS been done? thats cool...question is did you have to fab up your on intake or is there one some where out there?

I am sure someone has a manifold for the H motor... Maybe try to google "Rowland Manifolds"

it never went 10s

he had alot of problems getting the carb setup to work and eventually when he got it to the track he broke a camshaft on one of the first couple passes.

he did build his own manifold and had to isolate the carbs from it to reduce vibration because it wasnt working on the dyno.

Even better Bisi has built a 9.97 second F22A w/Weber carbs. They would bolt right up to an H22 head.

Anywho, for carbs on an H22 you are going to have to fab your own intake/flange. Or maybe ask Bisi if he has an old set laying around now that he has moved onto a set of fuel injected individual throttle bodies.

Dam straight it's impressive! to that. Not sure what he's running now, however, I do know that he's no longer running carbs.
