<<NEW DISCOVERY!! 2 SEPERATE ECU PROGRAMS IN ONE ECU>>
AS the topic states i figured out a very easy way to have an obd1 ecu that has a CROME programmed chip ( or hondata, uberdata ect) for racing and then with the flip of a switch you are back to the OEM stock program...... not rocket science but kool anyways....
You ask why would i want to change from my TUNED program back to the stock and vise versa??
1. most important SMOG CHECKS!!
2. letting friend/girlfriend/family borrow your car
3 leaving your car at an auto repair shop
4 valet parking
5. sandbagging a race
6.....uhhh i dont know
anyways here are some shitty pics (cell phone) of a P72 that i tuned on crome and added the ability to change back to the stock program.... this works out well for this particular customer because his tuned prog has a rev limit of 9500 and of course when he flips the switch it is back to 8000. (he shares the car with his older brother who cant drive for ****)

awesome because I did this too on my ecu. With a flip of the switch your running the stock program or the edited maps

This is perfect for daily drivers / weekend race cars that run different exhaust setups and such. Need completely different tunes
oh wait....or can it only be the stock program and custom, not two customs?

that switch is probably connected to the Jumper J1. So you disconnect the jumper and you're back at the stock program. There are ways that you can use a different chip and have 2-3 different modified programs ready to go

If it's like this one below, then you should be able to run two different maps and switch between them with the car running. I don't see why you'd just add a switch to go back to stock, though.

on a 512k eprom you can store 2 diferent tuned maps and change between them, On the forum theres info on how to do this, very simple.
moates.net and xenocron.com both sell the kit for $30

pgmfi.org is your friend. I'm actually surprised that a pretty popular tuner like you hasn't discovered this long ago. FI guys do this for highway driving to lean it out and get great milage and then flip it back to "race" mode. I think there are other options where you can switch b/w multiple (more than 2) fuel maps.
In any case, I'm glad you're offering it as an option

This chip really sounds like something more for FI guys, nevertheless. a step foward

Re: <<NEW DISCOVERY!! 2 SEPERATE ECU PROGRAMS IN ONE ECU>> (HOOKUPS)
I seen this before too. If not many people know about it, it means that there was a lack of marketing for it. Now this is where you should step in and market this with a switch going up to a hidden spot on the dash or something.
