Re: (DC2point0)
Its really not that bad honestly, I just leave my windows open!
But anywho. im deciding on LMA choices since i will be going with a cam of higher than 10.8mm of lift, that being, the skunk2 stage2's. For some reason they say only the late model LMA's are like that of the ITR, yet i pulled them out of my 95 gsr head and they are the same as say the 1997 which is the same as the itr. so therefore i do not think i have to change the lma's since the lma's on this 95gsr head have a bigger pad area so the tit on the rocker arm cannot slide off and create valve train bind.

Re: (JH4DC4-2GSR)
yeah, i was wonderin about that because my 95 gsr head looked like it had the larger pads, so i was confused as to whether i should have changed it...i didnt though, so ill cross my fingers.

Re: (philafelman)
Yep, turns out im lucky, here a quote from MD off of TI:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by MD »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you lucked out then. As long as you don't have the b16a smaller tapered LMA, you're ok.
95 is a weird model year because in 1995 Jan-June it was OBD1 but in the summer some of the production OBD2a stuff showed up like these LMA's and by Sept 1995 you had the model year 1996 and OBD2a officially starting.
the OBD2 GSR's apparently according to Rocket has these larger LMA's..</TD></TR></TABLE>
So there goes $240 i can spend elsewhere!

UPDATE: 6/13/05
Well guys after almost 2 weeks i finally received my AEBS Head Studs, and i also purchased 10 OEM Honda Oil Filters and 30 crush washers from a member on TI for $35 so i couldnt pass up the deal..
The head is at the machine shop, it as been milled .005 and hot tanked, i also received new valve guides from honda too. All thats left for the head is cams and valves.
This paycheck on friday will put me near another 1g to dump into the motor. So hopefully this will be done well before planned....
I will post pics of the head studs installed tonight... in the meantime, im gonna go eat this 16oz steak and potatoes...

UPDATE: 6/30/05
I received my Supertech Valves today and i must say they look great. I will post pics sometime tomarrow, I also weighed the valves. There some differences, such as the cut stems, etc...
I also today ordered the Blox IM, Hondata IM Gasket, and Spoon 2-Layer HG..
Seems to be moving along nicely now.
I am dropping the Valves, Valve Guides, seals & Skunk2 springs to the shop tomarrow and the head should be done soon.. It has already been milled .003" and hot tanked.. So next week i should have my head back, and the parts i ordered.
I might not be purchasing much here soon, because insurance and a recent ticket..

UPDATE: 7/7/05
Today i received my BLOX IM, when my sister woke up up (long day at work), then i opened the door and my BLOX IM was being held by the FedEx woman, i was like this is a badass dream, but when she was like sign here and gave it to me, i was like ahha, this is real..
But anywho, the quality of this is just like that of the skunk2, i think blox cleaned their shiat up better.. Also, this did include instructions, i dont know if any other previous times they didnt, but they did this time.
I did some measurements tonight:
Inlet 64.01mm
Runner width, measured 1/8" inside of runner: 52.24mm
I will start putting the stock sensors on here soon, or i might go back to sleep..
Pics will be up tomorrow, too lasy right now..
Also, the head couldnt get done this week, even if it was, i would not have had the money to get it done.
Spoon HG should be here tomorrow, along with me ordering some skunk2 cam gears from a member on TI
Peace
