My frankenstein DC2 Integra build
Hey all, my name is Jake and this is my first attempt at a build thread! I've been into Honda only for about a year now but I feel like I have enough knowledge and will to start off a thread and try to get to know some other people interested in these hood rides. I'm a 20 year old Naval Aircrew man living in New Jersey. But I will still try to update as quickly and often as possible.
The car for the build: I picked up a 1994 DC2 Acura Integra. All the maintenance records were included and it has a clean title. I got it for an extremely good deal and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The interior is incredibly clean for a 94, almost looks brand new besides driver seat. I got it with a K20A2 but sucked in some water . So i currently invested in a K24 block and just got it back.
Plans: Basically i'm just gonna build my car for myself and try to keep it clean with oem parts etc, so please keep your negative comments to yourself but constructive ideas etc. would be greatly appreciated

Re: My frankenstein DC2 Integra build
K series have ridiculous potential, especially over an H series which you should know seeing as you have one. With a cam and upgraded valve train (which will happen in the future) his numbers will sky rocket. A K20/K24 swap is much more rewarding than simply slapping a H22 into a dc/eg chassis, also flows much better.
Nice job brosif, this thing has tons of room to grow. Upgrading to Kpro early is a great investment, start learning about internals! Most people don't get to experience a quality engine in their first Honda/Acura.
Jake go to K20A.org and sign up, people there have much more knowledge than will be had here. Everyone into K series will agree
