Default My 1.8 Build!

So yeah dudes. ive started on my Gsr Build Up

Heres The Facts..

b18c1 block. bore & hone. & Linehone with main studs
ARP: Main Studs, Head studs, and rod bolts
Jdm Itr pistons.. .25
resized rods
micropolished journals
Blue printed and Balanced
Acl Race Bearings

Top end.. head work is done and Im waiting for rocket valve train... ill keep you guys updated on more stuff

Please take the first pic down.

Setup looks solid. By micro buffed crank, im assuming you mean micropolished journals? Make sure you check your clearances with those ACL race bearings, they give you a little more than the standard. Unless of course you already know this and thats why you chose them.

i plastic gauged everything and they all fall under spec.

Are you sure you "plastic" gauged everything? What were the exact specs?

You realize that to be able to use the arp main studs you need to have your block line honed.

Because it says so on the instructions, The change in clamping force will distort the shape of the journals.

I know I am reading impared but doesn't the first post say align-honed with the main studs? I bet even the German Shepard read that part, just paws are hard to type with. Nice build, keep us informed.
Oh, and ACL race bearing come in H and HX sizes. One is the same (to .0001) as std and the other has extra clearance.

only thing i would havedone differently is used p30 pistons. better bang for the buck in my opinion. no black skirt no problem.

The rings look like Wiseco XC's, if so good choice, way better than OEM.
