m22x Finally Comes to OZ
Hello ppl.
I ordered a set of M22x from rocket just to be different, cos they only use toda or BC Skunk here in Australia.
We ran into a whole bunch of problems but we finally got it right.......almost. First the cat melted and caused the car to down on power. then the idle was lumpy but that was due to a faulty Oxygen Sensor.
offically we did 130.3 KW , unoffically its about 140kW as the Dyno was reading 10% lower after it had some issues. we compared two cars results that were tuned when the dyno was working to now and they showed a 10% lost in power output.
In HP that will equate to about 225HP.
Luckily we got the specs on the m22x so we could set them in just the right spot. No guess work involved
B18C/B16A
Oversized CTR Pistons (total comp 12.8:1)
M22x
Rocket valve springs and Retainers, Flat faced Valves.
Toda ported head.
Toda Header
440CC RC injectors
2.25 Exhaust with a 5zigen muffler
hondata S200
Thanks to Rocket, DonF, Omniman, Toda Racing Australia, 92TypeR, Aquafina, clean rice for all your advice

Sorry it took so long to get you the numbers you wanted. Glad they worked for you. Did you use .058 and .044 .000 lash?

Wow those are terrific numbers...how big (liters) is that motor? Im guessing two.ohh
Edit just read your sig...it looks like is borderline to a 1.9L with OS CTR pistons.

I personally have not sold a set of M24's yet, so to be honest with you I couldn't tell you at this moment. I'm gonna find out soon though, I think I have a set sold here in about a week

Re: m22x Finally Comes to OZ (DJ_NeX)
thanks for the comments guys.
all we did was copy the build from omniman 200hp b16 DVD. except we changed a few things like the header and pistons.
we change to the CTR (12.5CR)pistons cos we have a higher octane fuel in OZ. and we changed the header to a toda item cos of this article
http://www.hondatech.com.au/fo...t=616
we were gonna get the smsp header but as you can see there isnt much difference between the toda and the SMSP header. and the toda header was cheaper by a fair bit.

they dont use the sms header in the omniman dvd. they went with a hytech header. the only reason we were considering the SMS header is cos the customer asked about it.

all the US headers are nice but they cost too much when we have them sent to australia.
