Default lsvtec build ctr/arp/honda oem parts w/ crazy header

Just thought I would show the H-T community another lsvtec is coming to life. its gonna be daily driven to work and school. set up is as follows
GSR head
LS bottom
GSR tranny
micropolished ls crank
ls rods w/ arp rod bolts
ctr os .25 pistons
stock gsr valvetrane for now
custom header 2.5"(secret)

I will be de-tunning it via uberdata because the comp. ratio is too high for my standards of daily driving.

Try not to flame but just give me educated opinions, preferably if you have actually BUILT your own motor. thanks guys...oh yea heres some pics cuz everybody loves those

well running ctr pistons you can probably just retard your timing a little to keep it from knocking ... :D

I could have done that but i already have the pistons fit to the rods and all. the parts i have are being used.

Anyone that has a similar setup post your thoughts about tuning.

I have a apexi vafc, going uberdata for timing managment and vtec Xover and I have a walbroh 255lph in tank pump and 450cc dsm's w/ resistor box obviously. thats my fuel managment and where i live i have option of either 93 octane or 100. both very convenient to get.

why such big injectors and such a big fuel pump 12:1:1 is very easy on a gsr combustion chamber is already welded unlike a stock b16

Yea good luch on tunning...I have almost the same setup except my head is milled 30 thousands.. I tend to ping real bad mid range like 3-4K rpm,I would like to get some colder plugs,i hope it helps..I was told i was about 12.7-1 CR could be wrong.

Yea I will be tuning it with someone who has tuned all sorts of setups including this one before. I have the 450's already cuz i was boosted before so i kept them around. My goals were right around 180whp and 130wtq until I get money to put into valvetrain. My comp ratio should be around 12.5:1 + but I will be retarding the timing to lower it a little.

What octane do you run and what kind of tuning are you dealing with?

i run 93 i run 94-100 if i am going 2 the track if u use such big injectors u will need 2 have your fuel pressure adjusted so u don't run rich and bog down because they r so big
