don Flores has a reputation for building the highest whp motors on the east coast. He has the reputation for building motors that last and make power. He has a reputation as beig one of the smartest and best engine assemblers around.

I can name 20 satisfied customers . This is 1 I have heard not being happy.

IF don really hasn't sent the motor he is in the wrong and he will admit it. Mistakes happen problems occur. Not excuses but it is what it is

he isn't some new kid he's been around for years. That doesn't excuse anything but it should count for something.

I hope it gets solved and quickly

Don took a year to build my 2.0l motor. Now some of that was waiting on me for parts, waiting on money, waiting on him to have time etc

building a motor isn't drop shipping a header that's premade. Did this guy pay up front everything and have all parts ready to go? Or was there some time in between?

Don fell Ill so I heard and then was told he wasn't at his shop for several weeks. I was also told 4ghatch moved and there was a problem figuring out what real address he had.

Don can be hard to get ahold of.
Don can take longer than "normal"

but he's always delivered for me and countless others. I have faith it'll happen this time too.

I think op has a perfectly good reason to be upset and it's warranted. I think using this as an area to grandstand and take personal attacks makes you look foolish and petty and selfish.

If Don can admit his wrong doing then great but that still doesn't make the buyer happy. IMO I think Don should offer something of a large value to show his sorrow. Simply saying sorry just doesn't cut it. Give the guy a few hundred bucks back. Give him free labor, give him something worth value to show him your indeed sorry and willing to make wrong, right. This guys plans have been hindered and he's now saying he's over it and not willing to complete the build. Its not the end of the world but Don's wrong doing has impacted this guy's life quite a bit. I think the least he can do is offer something with high value. Whether it be cash, free cams, free pistons, SOMETHING worth more than 100 bucks Don.

Yeah, theirs absolutely nothing he can do to make up the time lost, unless he gives a complete refund, along with a complete engine.

I would definitely care about how clean the environment is where the engine will be assembled. I was taught that when assembling an engine my work counter/desk should be as clean as a surgeons table. Maybe everyones not that **** about it but they should be. I'am and would especially if I was paying someone to do a job right.

Fortunately for my friend Mike Barnard h-t sn NinjaMike the outcome was he received a f***ed up B16 Head about 10 months done by yours truly donf, sent it back and when it returned the motor had a leak down test done and all exhaust valves where leaking. haha DONf is an SCAMMER.

NinjaMike told me about "DFE facilities" being that the first time the head was given to Donf it was in person, he said he had second thought once he seen the place, sooo Please

None of this really matters as long as he builds some of the best engines around. Seriously, would you rather have a clean facility with mediocre engines or a shack with superb engines? I'd prefer the latter myself.

I could also care less what he does with his life. If he wants to be a drunkard, more power to him. Just build my engine right.

Thats why people buy knock off ****..

You can get it right away..

So while people are waiting for DonF and other laggers to finish their builds i've gone thru like 10 different engine setups... not because they blew up but because i dont run the same setup for 5 years.. lol...

you need to step up every year or even sooner because of all the competition. and being held up by BS like this is just a joke..
