How do I upgrade my injectors.

How do I upgrade my injectors.
I have a 94 accord with the F22 engine. The engine is bone stock and apparently uses 240cc injectors. I want to upgrade to a bigger size injector. What would be a good size that I can upgrade to without damaging the engine. And what mods do I have to do (if any) before I upgrade my injectors. Thanks and have a nice day bros.

Re: How do I upgrade my injectors.
are you the same guy that asked this on the facebook page?
you don't need to upgrade injectors. It will do nothing for you on your bone stock f22 and will even cost more then your engine is worth.

when the dyno *man* says you could make more power if only you could add more fuel. (160hp being the estimated limit for your stock injectors, probably)

the 160 is an estimate based on the online injector calculators. Adding fuel flow capacity adds power potential given adequate air can also be added. there are some caveats but that's the gist of it.

Stock 240cc injectors are good until ~200whp. The only benefit you would see by changing injectors is if you switched to one using newer technology and better spray patterns (ID injectors, RDX injectors, etc.).

This. I was hitting like 97% injector duty cycle on the 240cc, before upgrading injectors. More or less an open hole that you're trying to force a fluid out of, and the solenoid (injector) getting extremely hot trying to control such events.
I would recommend to anyone now days even with a bolt on setup to at the very least use RDX injectors. Plenty of fuel available and the spray pattern is worlds ahead of the old 240cc injectors. There is power in atomization... and I know from experience dudeeeee! lol

Either the dyno guy sells tuning stuff and trying to get in your pocket or he has no clue wtf hes talking about.

You'll need them later then. If you don't have any sort of tunable engine management right now then injectors are of no use to you... None of them are plug and play.
