Default Help choosing rods

I am in the process of choosing connecting rods for my all motor build (96 Lude)and would like some input. I did try to search about rods, but all I came up with is "for sale" items. How important is rod selection? Here are my choices:

Carrillo (they said it would be 337 per rod).
Pauter (750 for a full set).
Crower (don't know the cost but its not that much)
Golden Eagle

The rods will be going with either custom Wiseco or custom CP Pistons. I haven't decided on the pistons yet.

That seems high for the Carrillo rods. I want to say that mine were $600 for the set of 4. This is for a b-series, but I can't see the H being that much more. You want to be sure to stay as light as possible.

Race Engineering has Carrillo's for $700. About same for Crower. Eagles will be the cheapest (get what you pay for). Manley's are good as Carrillo/Crower and a bit less, for now. Price of good steel going up soon.

Im putting an H23 crank in my H22 bottom. Carrillo doesn't have H23 rods off the shelf, so it is a custom order.

Retail pricing on Carrillo H beams as about $1000 for 4.

I only dream about Cunningham rods.

Normally, we'ved sold people h22 rods and a custom piston to use in F22/H23 bottom ends.
