Re: DFE Built H2x - 300whp / Low 11 sec Prelude Build
after a few more careful measurements and plotting my chart, im completely safe vtv at 5* separation and i can run 4* separation as its technically above the minimum threshold. gotta measure piston to valve then assemble the head and i can start really putting it together.
heres my motivation to get it done

Re: DFE Built H2x - 300whp / Low 11 sec Prelude Build
thank you Marshall, i am as well.
today i put it back on the ground. I noticed my coolant jackets had a lot of crud built up so i sprayed some rust penetration and let it sit for an hour or so. removed the rear jacket bolt and hose then used a garden hose with an adjustable nozzle to flush out them out as well as the water pump. I guess thats what i get for using tap water and letting it sit in there. Once i get it running i plan on taking it up to work and have the coolant flushed with the machine as im sure the radiator is full of crap. probably going to spray some rust penetration in the radiator and flush it out with the hose as well.

In the 11.85 video, what tires were you running? Have you ran the car on DOT street tires before?
Awesome build!

Nope never with street tires. Prolly never will unless i have a need to put a radial back on. And that would only be to drive it on the street. Would need something bigger than a 1 gallon tank for that lol.

Its a part of my traction bar. Our bars replace the front crossmember which has the front mount on it. Its simply the replacement for the mount.

ahhh ok..what type of traction setup you got? While i'm flat blacking the bay and doing the engine stuff over, i might look into getting some of that stuff done.

Blake the build seems to be coming along well brother! Can't wait to see it tear up the track when I get back. Are you going to be running at Breakway this year or hauling it else where?
