GETTING IT STRAIGHT: Does more overlapp "bleed off" compression

Re: GETTING IT STRAIGHT: Does more overlapp "bleed off" compression
The same can be said for a bunch of rich kid punks who had mommy buy them their k-series ek. These kids rev on anyone that passes them up or any other import at a stop light. There are several of these punks in my small town with a population of 25,000. Ricers like this is definately what gives the import scene a black eye.
i was refering specifically to the advanced engine theory and grassroots development aspects of the honda scene. there is nothing left to discover with this B platform, and if there is no one cares anymore. when someone asks a K question, the only people that reply are the K20a.org regulars anyway. i guess you could say this site lived by the B and died by the B.
there will always be little punk mommy-sponsored cars. that will never change.

Yeah, my mom bought me a set of lowering springs once...I should sleep better tonight now that I got that off my chest...

I attribute the downfall of H-T to vBulletin. I grew out of the swapped hatchback phase a few years ago but have been missing it lately. I want to get back in it but when I see where the scene is at today, I think twice.

you can have a swapped hatchback as long as you have a clean titan 4wd to drive to work and not look like a 17yr old.

I leave for a few months and all this goes down?
I can see 98 vtec getting banned(he threatened to ban me for no reason before) but damn.
Also, "Rocketbob" doesn't know as much as you think people(I've called him out on a few things, including the original subject of this post), so don't be so butt hurt about him being gone. He only knows the basics, which you could find through any simple Google search. I think you just miss being spoon fed info. Which is another reason I think this section slowed down so much. Every time somebody posts something the first response is "Search!", which proves the point that almost everything there is to know about these engines can be found in a search. The owners of the site can see that even though the posts are low that the hits are still high; and that's because you can find all the info you need through a simple search, so the site is still valuable as an archive.

very true. k20a.org and d-series.org are the best forums for their respective followings. honda-tech is like the unofficial "b-series.org".

Well I just now found out Rocket got banned, so I decided to bump this thread for the sake of nostalgia. Participating in threads like this is what made me really enjoy this place all those years ago.
I kinda feel the same way my mom does when she drives through her home town and sees how many places from her childhood have been torn down and don't exist anymore.
Maybe I should have a mod reset your post count, so we don't have to lose you too
.

Ive always said I'll retire my account at 10k posts, so you've all got 50 posts left of my bullshit to deal with. I'm gonna go out with a bang.
Conan is right on on a multitude of points as are some of the rest of you. This place has become a joke for the reasons stated above. These same mod's that are "policing" these forums have turned it into a cesspool.
