Default F22 motor, D Series Trans, where can I get an adapter?

I need an adapter plate so I can mount a D Series tranny on my F22 motor. Bisimoto has this set-up and I am looking into doing it. I just need the adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

'Bisi is the only person that I know of that has built that plate. You may want to contact him. I know he sells them along with the flywheel you will need.

There is a guy selling H-series engine to B-series transmission adaptors here on this site. And they should work for F-series engines as well. Now I know you want to use a D-series transmission. But keep in mind that F-series motors put out quite a bit of torque. And D-series transmissions are weak. You might want to look into this instead.

Really? I had been waiting for an update, but figured he gave up on it since I haven't heard anything of the kit on his site or here.

I have a whole bunch of friends with turbo D's putting out waaaay more torque than any NA H motor, and they are having no problems.

Also, the guy that is supposedly making those B plates has been MIA for months now. People have been trying to email him like crazy.

Randy Monroe(username RMF) will be releasing a very nice H to B adapter kit soon. If there is enough interest, I'm sure he could be convinced to produce a run for the D series tranny.

Do you know whats involved in having an adapter plate on a H or F motor? You have to cut off half the pan rail on the back of the motor so the axle will clear. And you have to have the motor mounts that go with that adapter. Also a pan and a header,A VW slave cyl.And linkage.

Damn, back from the dead. Still haven't heard word from Bisi. The parts stated above isn't that big of a deal, but a high quality adapter is first a foremost the objective right now.

I will have the price and anything else that you need about this case with no adapter plate for A H22to B-series Hydr. trans.Right after the races this week end at Fire Bird. And Also let you know how it works. If it doesn't rain.We just finished everything but the Hydraulic line. And that will be done in the morning.

sweet i appreciate the effort in coming out with this. from what i have read about it, i didn't realize it was that involved.

my thoughts were if someone came out with a f/h to d-series tranny adapter...it would be a nice alternative to having to buy h series mounts and all that to go into an ef.

but, a h to b adapter would be damn nice too. my clutch is going on my b18a...i'd love to throw a h23 in there with my gsr hydro tranny when it goes

Will will also be testing our H2B kit this coming April 2-3 at Sacramento's CMI event. 1700 Lbs with driver, stock H22.

Either way you do it, grinding becomes required for the oem intermediate axle. A replacement intermediate alxe mount is in the works.

We have designed spacer/adapter that allows you to retain your oem clutch slave cylinder.

Email me for more information.
