Default es oval muffler!

I'm gonig with 2.5" exhaust but don't know what muffler to use.I really want a stock look. A freind of mine told me to get the es oval wit a 2.5 inlet and outlet. I want to know if anyone has used that muffler. Is it any good and will it hold back any air flow?

No, its a straight through oval. Magnaflow and Dynomax sells the same thing, for cheaper.

I have one on my CRX. It's very stock looking. Sounds good too.

All the flat-black ones I've seen for sale are like $20 more. Go buy yourself a $4 can of spray paint and do it yourself.

How do they perform though? Is it restrictive?

Its obviously not stock sounding, but its not loud. Around town cruising, its just a nice deeper tone to it. When you went WOT, it was (obviously) quite a bit louder. When I had my CAI installed, the CAI overpowered it by a lot though.

jhpusa.com sells them. They're a bit cheaper if you're getting the 2.25" one.

I got mine in the HT classifieds. they show up from time to time.

how does it flow compared to the dynomax muffler designed just like it? Is it quiet enough to keep the cops off of my ***?

autozone sells the "turbo muffler" almost identical, quiet, straight through and still preforms, and looks stock. $14, you cant beat it.
