Engine Upgrade

Engine Upgrade
Well, before I get my head ripped out. Let me just start out by saying that I'm new to the scene of beefing up engines and what not. Anyway, I have a D15B SOHC with a 5 speed tranny I recently got put in. It's a 1989 Honda Civic Hatch and everything is working great. I have CAI, Headers, and exhaust. Now I'm not planning on doing any racing. But I would like to have a little extra noticeable power. I've been reading about mini me swaps and stuff like that. Basically is there any way of making this engine faster without swapping out the whole engine? And adding new computers and anything extra? What's a decent upgrade that is possible on this type of engine?
Thanks again,
Thanks again,

Re: Engine Upgrade
the obdo to obd1 jumper does have a pigtail that goes to like the vtec solenoid, 4 wire o2 sensor. ect... if you get that tune, specially with the d15b (i hope its the vtec one) then you will definitely feel the difference. 20 hp is alot. enough for you not to regret it.

Re: Engine Upgrade
DONY CRY at least its already mpfi as long as its a true Si
things could be worse it could be dpfi and you would have to do even more wiring
and a d16y8 with a few bolt ons would run pretty good in that car with a zc/si hybrid trans
