ive been looking at them myself to replace my itrs (in a turbo car though) but havent purchased anything yet. the intake has a good amount of lift 12.4mm but the exhaust cam seems a bit small comparatively especially in terms of duration.
very curious to the results

i noticed this as well... however, i have also noticed that most other popular cams have the duration either equal too or close to equal for both int. and exh.. which in my mind, lends me to believe those cams havent really been designed and tested thoroughly. Most of the allmotor guys i see run a less aggressive exh. cam.. IE pro2 cam on intake and itr cam on exhaust. i trust edelbrock more then most companies, as they are one of the few that design and test their products in house over and over. plus , they are made right here in the USA.. not chinese made metal.. yea yea.. blox this, blox that.. or skunk this , skunk that. its just how "I" feel about it though, so no one should get all ished out..

ive seen a few people on HT run two different profiles. not exactly sure on the two brands, as i was just giving and example. but none the less, ive seen several. lol
"Tested these cams 2-3 years ago over a type r intake cam and gsr ex. And made 40 whp more at 30lbs. This was on a 67mm car making 720whp. Also used them on a car making 880 that went 9.2" on a discussion based on results using the 4730 camshafts

That's not even close to the exaple you gave. The reason folks run the ITR/GSR combo is due to cost/bennifit weight.

Re: edelbrocks 4730 B series camshafts, anyone running them?
i cant find the other posts, but ive seen someone run tuner cam and an itr cam etc.. and weight from a gsr cam to an itr cam? really? cost? really? considering used itr cams cost more then what I paid, cant really see what benefits you are referring too.. either way, this is off topic.
i should have my head built in a few weeks with a dyno before an after to post for ALL to see.

ITR exhaust cam has little bennifit over the GSR for the added cost.
That being said I'm interested in seeing results, I don't think these cams are a bad choice at all. I may pick up a set of these to have around for the price.

Do you have a micrometer? Can you check the lift on the small lobes?
Zero across the base circle, measure peak lift. Multiply by 1.55 and it wil give an approximate number.

* 1.49
That would be awesome! I may just pick up a set after reviewing the specs the intake cam looks fantastic, the EXH cam LOOKS to be a little small but just speculation.

Some of these numbers are at 1mm others are at 0.050" I need to sort that out, so all numbers may not be comparable.
I used the cam card numbers for each cam, the N1's do not measure to the spec as far as lift they fall between GSR/ITR.

Too bad they aren't making them any more.
I should have picked up a set when Edelbrock was blowing them out for $178 a set.

yup, which is a shame. They did come into the game abit too late to be honest. I mean, they couldnt even develop a name in the import scene at all. Most people only care about names on a fender, vs actually making a motor run. Thats why to this day, most people will never take the import scene seriously.

Similar to the crane stage 3 intake cam and stage 2 exhaust cam just put in a boost setup less duration though

I ordered a set.... Looking over how similar cams respond they appear to be a good choice for a street car:
ITR/Blox/S2 manifold
Ramhorn/mid length turbo manifold
Mid-size turbo 5858/GT30
~400-500
Interested to see how they stack against my previous comparisons.
