Default Edelbrock D-Series Header Specs

Finally came in. First ipression is damn for the money you cant beat this header. Came with all new gaskets, hardware, instructions, o2 extender and it just feels like a quality header when you hold it. Plus its made in the USA Its gonna need some portmatching as you can see but thats not a big deal at all. I payed 129 shipped for this from edelbrock. It was on sale

Ok, first off, specs are as follows. Primaries are 12in long, all 4. Secondaires, when looking down on it are 20in on the left and 22 on the right. The collector is 6 3/4" long. Primaries are 1 1/2 in Diameter with a step at the flange from 1 5/8 to 1 1/2 as you'll see pictured.Than taper at the merge to 2in. The secondaires are 1 3/4 and taper to 2 1/4 but are halfed it seems. Its odd but seems niffty

Heres the taper i was talking about

here you can see what i mean by it being halfed

ill see what ground clearance is like once its installed on the car

Any plans to get this thing dyno tested by itself or against anything else?

They have for awhile. Their older headers were a collaboration with JG and they were quite nice. They also were blown out on summit at a very similar price.

heres a link to the store for anyone interested. It says black finish but you can clearly see this isn't black. I intend to wrap it as well before it goes on the car

I bought my b-series header during this blowout a few years ago for 140 Shipped. Not the best performing header on the market, but for $140, it does damn good

Yeah, the D-series ones were 1-3/4 inch primaries. They're ****ing ridiculously big.
