Can bad 02 affect my HP?
I have a 92 EG with a b18b1 bottom and a 98GSR head with blox dual valve springs, k series retainers , flat face valves , blox type A cams , adjustable camgears and a skunk 2 first gen intake manifold . It was tunned and it made from 180 to 190 hp cant remeber correctly , but i installed new headers and didnt tighten up my o2 sensor and it fell off somewhere in the road and i just plugged up the hole with the bolt and my question is ... will my car loose power with out the O2 sensor in place?? My fuel economy is so crappy too

replace the O2 or with a wide band AFR gauge. Reset the ecu or re tune it. The new header will throw off your tune/ AFR.

The stock style narrowband O2 sensor is used to maximize fuel economy while maintaining docile idle and part throttle operation. At wide open throttle, the ECU moves to "open loop" mode and uses the tables exclusively without feedback from the O2 sensor... so it being missing will NOT affect peak power.
If you want your fuel economy to improve from "garbage", I suggest you re-install a new O2 sensor and re-tune the car at your favorite dyno tuner's place.

All depends on how well your car was tuned. Will you loose HP & TQ... probably Not as long as the ECU is in open loop. However, if it has been tuned to maintain closed loop, with the O2 missing, it will probably resort to a stored table. If those tables haven't been properly tuned you could do damage to the engine running it without an O2 sensor.
Simple answer is to buy a new O2 sensor and all your worries should be behind you.
