blox type C cams vs blox hsl cams
i have blox type c cams on the motor im building and iv seen good numbers on them, but same goes for the hsl cams everyone i talked to about both cams say there good.
type c cams are "similar" to jun III cams
hsl cams are "similar" to s2s3 cams
post dyno charts with mods you have, also fuel your using.
also if you have anything bad to say about the cams post the problem that you had, and how you figure it happend

Expand on your "build" info for us(block, crank pistons) and we might be able to give you better usable info. Building a B16 and suggesting cams is different than building a B20V and suggesting cams.

Better check your sources on that one dude
I did 2 months of research trying to find why everyones opinion was so negative about these guys and after trying to contact them directly several times thru email and phone and getting nothing usefull I decided they were a lil too shiesty of a company to trust for engine parts. I've gotten a gauge and some mag drain plug but that's all they r getting out of me

Pita, its function from jdms. If you are looking into cams for that setup, look into drob's setup. He had an 81.5mm ls v making 220whp on pump, i believe. He had p30 pistons though, and he ran pro2s.

Fortunately, none. I saw evidence of where a valve touched a piston. I did a leak down and compression test and the engine was very near to it historical values.
I spoke with Blox and they agreed to replace the cams but I really did not feel like it would be worth my time.
However, I ran their Blox A's for years with no problems. In fact, that set of cams are in another car that was just rebuilt and posted in this forum by Drob. If you are going for an aftermarket cam better than stg1 ie. > 12 mm of lift, I stand by my recommendation for skunk2. I even recommend RM.
