Blox C versus Blox A

Blox C versus Blox A
Several of my friends have been advising me for years to get a bigger set of cams. Well, I finally did. I recently swapped cams from Blox A to Blox C in my 1.8L motor.
The details of the set-up are as follows:
Blox C's
JG Cam Gears
Custom Header designed by me built by synapse
3" Kteller SS exhaust
Port matched AEBS manifold
68 mm Professional Products TB
B18C1 short block with 81.5 mm RS Machine Pistons
B16 stock port head
supertech springs
2002 rsx type s retainers
Hastings piston rings
Honda main bearings
acl rod bearings
2000 B16A oil and water pumps
240 CC injectors
tuned using BRE (OBD-0)
Here are the results so far.
The good.
The C's bet the A's everywhere.
This motor had been dying for some cams and it came through like a champ.
In the words of D-rob, "Your the only guy to come through under cammed."
The bad.
I ran out of injector on the dyno. We could only get the AF down to 15.
To get home, D-rob set the rev limit at 7800.
The plan is to convert to OBD-1 and try some better injectors, maybe IDs.
I'll post the results.
Also, I would like to thank D-rob, Hondabull, Bill, and Wesley for aiding in this mis-adventure.

Re: Blox C versus Blox A
Time to slap some bigger injectors and a fuel pump in that thing, and retune on Neptune.
Glad I could help!

Nice. You should post your old numbers/graph up so people have something to compare to. *nvm, I didn't see the faint lines. Had to adjust my screen a little.
Does your head have a stock valve job?

nice numbers
what compression you running at?
cant wait til i get my cams this friday and tune on sat
kind of scared that my apexi ws2 is going to rob all my power. might get a cutout before and after numbers if i have enough time on the dyno

What size you looking for and what's your price range? I may be able to get some used ones for decently cheap. But they're all peak and hold so you'll have to add the resistor box if you don't have one already.

Re: Blox C versus Blox A
Im in for bigger injectors and retune... Torque is great for 87mm crank in a 1.8 application.... Would love to see your dyno results after a flatten out A/F ratio and more fine tuning....

It is a custom design. I have a thread (see below) where I have "lively" discussion about how well it will perform.

I just check out your thread about your header.... All those guys that were bashing your header must be eating their words to this day... The header seems to be a big power adder in this application to me, & the new cams made the best of it.... How much did it cost to build and how was the ground clearance on the second version???

Re: Blox C versus Blox A
As for the ground clearance, we were able to improve to the extent that the car is street driven.
