Default B-series head on D-series Block?

Normally i would be the first one to laugh if i saw a post with this title. But...

Today i went over to a buddies house who is starting to get into hondas, he wanted to show me his new del-sol, So i was checking it out and its looking good and all, its got a header and aem cai, and a nice mugen valve cover. . . .

Then i notice on the block "D16Z6", I almost crapped my pants!!!! WTF??

It is defiantly a B16 head, like 200% for sure!!!!! but thats what it has on the block???

IS THIS POSSIBLE SOME HOW????

I could maby go get some pics if i need to but man, im startled, I don't even know what to say???

did you hear it run?

I could go into my workshop and have a d15b2 with a b16 head on it in a couple minuites.

but seriously, it is really not possible, the combustion chambers aren't in the right spots, and you'd only get to use 1 or maybe 2 of the headstuds. not to mention the oil and water holes.

pics??
