actually why wouldn't you use the arp pt#208-4306 which are specifically designed for the non vtec block with the vtec head?

so ls arp rod bolts will not work? for a b18b1 b18c1 combo... because this is what i found at lightningmotorsports.com
lightning motor sports:
ACURA B18A/B 11MM part#208-4302
ACURA VTEC B18C1 11MM GSR part#208-4303
says they are the same length? whats the deal?

Re: (Dan GSR)
it goes just like this...
first torque to 18 ft-lbs
second torque to 40 ft-lbs
third torque to 50 ft-lbs
fourth torque to 60 ft-lbs
fifth torque to 74 ft-lbs.
in between each re-torque you loosen the bolt 1/4 turn.
you always torque ARP fasteners at least 5x's for a proper torque reading.

so you do it 3 times hybrid? thats really good enough. that is the standard for all engine building, but ARP suggests re-torquing 5x's.
this goes for anything on an engine that gets torqued.
