unfortunately.... the combustion chamber required to accept this sort of piston is pretty big....... im guessing it will net somewhere in the 13-14 range

did you notice the word "custom" in the thread title?
they can make one for whatever engine you want.

How about over those peaks?
There sure are a bunch of edges on those pistons.
Good luck with the build, when do you expect to finish her up?

Well, as pictured, it will make one hell of a back scratcher.
I wonder why head porters don't make the chambers look like that.

all the hot spots will be addressed in the future..... in theory, those "edges" shouldn't be an issue due to the groove cut in the middle of the piston for more of a centered flame travel as opposed to one that spreads across the top of a conventional high comp piston. this is something that i borrowed from V8 guys, hemi 440 to be exact we'll see what happens when everything is put together and running....

good stuff, I was gonna say, that thing looks like it would be perfect for a hemi chamber.
We need like fiber optic thermal cameras to get in there and watch the flame travel....lol that would be sick

Scientist voice: "Fascinating..." I would love to see another custom job for a longer rod and/or stroke setup. Maybe say....including a K24 rod? This stuff really gets the brain excited.

yeah.... this piston is for the "test motor im putting together... once we get all the bugs figured out.... ill have a final design for the piston we want to use in our race program. i am actually straying away from the norm and going with a square h22 motor for this build, 90.7 stroke x 90.5 bore and with the most compression possible. well see how it goes....

Any particular reason you went with lateral gas ports opposed to vertical? Are you thinking of squeezing?
Nice pistons by the way

thanks..... no reason..... quite honestly, it wasnt on my mind when we designed this piston. im thinking of getting vertical gas ports added.
