all motor building tutorials
I'm looking for something wth step by step and pictures. I changed a head gasket on a b16 before, but never touched the bottom end.
The motor that I planon working on is a JMD b16a I/E and an ITR IM.

Re: all motor building tutorials (rmnS2K)
Keep in mind that building an engine is not something you can learn to do in a week. I spent about 1 year exhaustively educating myself and saving money before i built my engine. For example you will find many contrasting opinions on clocking pistons rings, you will have to research this to find the method you believe to be the best.
Building an engine is like a Chef making a gourmet meal. I personally can't cook for ****, so i don't try to make gourmet meals, so don't build your engine until you feel you are a "chef" or close to one.
With that said, i wish you the best luck. If you train yourself for it, you will be able to do it.
Also, building an engine is the funnest, most enjoyable "work" i have ever done to my car. Its like a really bad *** set of legos. After doing it, you'll dread doing stuff like brake pads, tie rod end replacing, it is the epitome of automotive modification indulgence, savor it.

can I use a 1.8 block instead of a 1.6 with that dvd?
I will still be using a b16 head and pistons.

Of course. The Intertune DVD is not a step-by-step engine build tutorial. The knowledge gained from watching it can be applied to various set ups.
