All Motor Build input is welcome
Whats up HT I dont post alot I mainly read and do research (Long Time Civichatchback.com member) here but I thought I would post my 2.0l build to get some input from the board.
Head
B18c1 As far as head work I will be sending my head to Endyn for there Full-Ported package. Stock size Valves, cumbustion chamber reworked to match bore of block, full intake and exhaust rework, wont list all that is included to much to list.
RM M24x cams ( cams still up in the air but most likey so with Rockets).
Ferrea Valves
TWM ITBS
Not sure what cam gears (which ever rocket says work best with his cams.)
Rc440 Injectors
I am know I am missing little stuff but you get the big pic.
Block
B18b sleeved by GE 85mm
Endyn long rod pistons
Eagle ls long rods (retang for gsr bearings hopefully)
Crower 92mm Crank
Endyn modified oil pump
ITR Water pump
GE Head studs
Arp main studs
GE Vtec conversion Kit
Endyn Breather Kit
Endyn Block girdle ( If I dont use the GSR girdle)
ACL race bearings (main and rod)
Fluidampr (not 100% I want to keep my power steering)
Block has been ordered thanks to Rob at GE and I talked to Endyn today about so other stuff.
I know I am leaving out some stuff but I cant think of it right now just wanted to post to see what you guys think about my plans. Car will not be daily driving but occasionally will drive to work.
Almost forgot the header but it will be either Hytech, Smsp, or RMF not sure.
P.S. I know it will be alot of money so dont post anything about money and if you dont have anything good to say then please keep it to yourself.

Re: All Motor Build input is welcome (h0ndavtec)
Just got my block in the mail. Couldnt be more happier. Quality is GREAT and I have no complaints about the process. (except the bend dowl pins on the tranny side).
Pic of the Oring.
Block in package after I took out the tons of bubble wrap.
Matching main caps
Block right after I cut the box open.
Crank should be here on thursday and rods should be here sometime next week.

I guess the WTDR website is down.
Hey Rocket thanks for all your help. Great customer service and great prices. I am in the customer service field as well and I know that great customer service is hard to find so I thank you again.
Pics of my new Crower crank (thanks to rocket) will be up shortly.

Re: All Motor Build input is welcome (Fink29)
$$$ Sounds good, good parts choice. But the only thing i am curious, street car or race car? If this is a street car, do you really wan't to put so much money in the motor. Sometimes you have to step back and think should i really spend this much money on this. It sounds like a $12,000 motor. Just keep that in mind. But you definitely have done your homework.
EDIT: sorry nevermind, didn't see the PS at the bottom. Sounds well thought out to me.

Hey man no problem I only wrote about the money thing because I know some people dont have anything to but hate on others so it's cool.
By the way this will be a street motor, but mostly 1/4 mile races at the track I wanted it streetable becasue I will prob drive it to work sometimes and around town.
I am not worried about the money really I priced it out around 8000-9000 prob get into the 11000. But I am also going to be build my eg over again as far as body work and suspension goes.
You want something so long but you can never afford well now I can afford it so aint no holding back. ( Until I get fired lol just joking )
Thanks everyone for posting.
New pics up soon

Didnt see this post but it should be around low 13s I will be having the cumbustion chambers resized so it might be high 12s. ( I used some compression calculator and it come out to around low 13s)
R/s ratio should be around 1.54

You haven't seen any of David Sparling's vids or dyno graphs, have you?
