It's more complicated, because as the the area of the pipe (runner) expands, short waves can get reflected.

Are you using a stock crank pulley?

Quick question... How does that hold up to ~9100 RPM?

Rocket i tried the oem p30 manifold half a year ago on this build
With this i made more power till 8000 rpm.
The p30 was about 5hp-6 hp ahead before 8k but dropped hard after that
But the blox made 12hp more top end.
Vtec crossover point could also not be lowered with the p30!

I would like to try a performer x and skunk2 ultra street manifold.

yeah i will change the injectors to some ID 750s pretty soon, well see what difference that makes

from the dyno charts I ve seen performer x drops hard after 7800-8000 rpm

but then I also seen some dyno charts that flat line the WHP after a big dip around 8300 then it picks up the whp again and caries past 9000 rpm which I thought was strange
I would have to look for it(might be in that PX thread)

Not on a B16a with cams with good duration,I will post up a dyno sheet later this week to show you all.

Nice build here. I see you do a lot of discussions regarding timing, etc.

I would like to ask some advice too, as I have b20vtec with pro2 cams. I am not sure if my cams are degreed right, but i set them first at oem marks and after that i just adjusted the cams with cam gears, which are skunk2 tuner series.

Maybe you have some tests and can tell me how the cam gears must be setup to be in the region where the cams must make best power?

We made 269bhp and 233nm on DASTEK dyno. We don't have good tuner in out country, so I asked him to adjust the cam gears as I read somewhere online, that these settings worked fine. So after these adjusments we got extra 14bhp. So I believe there is still a lot power to gain with just proper tuning, timing and fueling. The problems is that i haven't checked my p2v and v2v clearances.

I can tell about my setup: b20 with rs machine type r style pistons, forged rods, ported head, s2p2 cams, springs, retainers, valves, skunk2 pro inlet, hytech style try y exhaust header. 2,5" exhaust.

I can post some timing graphs or send hondata file by email if someone could look at them and give some advices.

Thank you very much.
