the ls block doesn't have the pcv crap..i think that's what delaney's asking..if you're running a crankcase vent kit, i.e. endyn. oh well we'll see it in the mag eventually </TD></TR></TABLE>
Well, not completely true. The b18b's dont have the oil sep box on the back, b18a's do. Just fyi.
And that is a crap load of duty cycle. But if it works let it eat i guess
Good Numbers though, You didnt run your bearings a little looser or anything like that? Pretty cool man

it's actually the 94-95 B18B block which does have the box on the back.

it's just the regular header with the original size collector cut off and a 2.5 collector welded on.

sorry to go off topic, but what do you guys use to measure bearing clearences if you don't use plasti-gauge? not a hater like most of other cats, so props on the build. I'd like to know however what trick you're using to use 240cc inj on a 200+hp motor. I see 240 inj run out of steam on stock b20vtecs... anyways

there have been numerous threads showing that stock injectors will work making 215-225whp. It may not be ideal but it works.

theres no way that you got those numbers with stock injectors. thats a lie and you know it. Wait, Eugene you built my 215whp lsvtec with stock injectors well maybe it true. good job Eugene and **** the HATERS
doesnt backdraft have a similar setup and similar numbers. No one seems to question his engine. Maybe his choice of injectors.
to answer you question yes backdraft did have a similar setup and people didnt believe him either

I guess they are using Micrometers or similar measure tools that can tell them exactly what clearances they have. But checking with plastiguage won't hurt as a extra precaution.

micrometers and bore gauges. no need to double check with plastic gauge.

Re: 217whp w/ 143tq ITR piston no port 91oct. 1.8L (ProStreetImport)
props on the build Eugene, thats a lotta power from a pump gas 1.8 with OEM pistons. I hope mine makes 200 and I have a more aggressive setup than that I think.
Damn and my 240cc injectors were maxed out (VAFC set to like +25 and it was still lean) with 52psi fuel pressure so my dumbass went out and spent $300 on new injectors. I guess I was just scared to turn the fuel pressure up any higher. **** I should've turned it up to 58!

hey man, im just wondering where your making peak power? How do you like the blox manifold??? I was reading on a site that wa selling it that its made for high end power, but im wondering if that was just advertising for ricers.. lol ....... it looks to me lo have a moderate plenum and really long runner, similar to the b16's .. Is this more of a ported b16 mani if anything??? Im very intrested in it!

Re: (92hatchattack)
upgrading froma B16 manifold is only going to get you power past 8K RPM. You will actually end up losing some power down lower with a better flowing IM. I would only change it out if you engine is going to spin up to or past 8500RPM *AND* will make power that high. Remember, just because you can make a stock B16 spin to 8500 doesnt mean it will make power past 8100

^^^ im reasearching for an lsvtec build. p30 pistons and posibly a ported head. I dont want to rev past 8600 period really, and i want to bring power in as early as posible.
I am intrested in the blox manifold do to the fact that it has longer runners than most of the other after market manis, hence making me think that it may make more torque/midrange power.....
