not at all, the motor was daily driven in another car(integra) for over a year, and finally swapped over into this chasis for more fun. the car is driven here and there around town plus i drive it to local 1/8 mile track all the time, interior was gutted and exhaust removed to participate in allmotor pro class at IFO. no cutting and lexans involved at all.

proper parts, proper assembly, and good tuning its a combo we at our shop have been working on to perfect a few different streetable/raceable motors that we can offer that have good power and good longevity.
We have countless track passes on this car, probably over 100 dyno pulls(as we used this motor to test a few headers and cams) and we toss radials on it and drive it all over town. have been using it for almost 2 years non stop.

Always good to support another all motor guy. I'm always cheering for this guy lol.

as far as rev, even though rev limit is set at 8900rpm, the car only saw around 8500rpm in each gear down the track.

very simple yet effective build. i like builds like these because it proves what i keep telling people. combination of the right parts will always produce great outcomes. i've seen people throw together builds with the most expensive parts out there and not do any research whether there combination will work together or not and end up with shitty outcomes. keep it up man... very nice build. post up some pics and more videos if possible.
