Hi TSX owners,

I currently drive a swapped GSR Hatch (1997) and just got a full time job so I was looking to something abit more mature. I started looking for a used TSX and I honestly do not like the latest model.

I was wondering what options or packages came with different TSX versions (ie what model years). Can anyone enlighten me?

All TSX's 2004+ have power windows, locks, sunroof, 6-dics CD changer, leather interior (black or tan) 6 speed or 5spd auto, with the option of Navigation.

2006+ had redesigned front fascia and rear bumper all coming with integrated fog lights, an extra 5HP, Multi-information Display (on dash) and Bluetooth hands free and MP3/I-pod input.

2007+ has everything above plus a Tipe Pressure Monitoring System

2008+ just had additional body colors

I saw get an 06... better engine plus they have hondata reflash (none for 07-08)

Yeah I dont really like the new one. I have seen some TSX's with nice exhaust (stock) and others with not so nice (stock).

Did all models come with the same mufflers? Or do some have bigger chrome tips?

Which years are drive by wire? If a K20A head swap is done can it be cable?

What are the main recurrent issues with the TSX if any?
Like the Si has a paint problem along with a moody 3rd gear.

04-05 front end + lip kit options look better... imo.

if you get 05.. dont get Auto. Got jipped on hondata and supercharger.

I went with an 04. Cheaper then an 06 and like others have mentioned, you can get the lip kit.

The 05 comes with sat radio i believe, the 04 does not; thats the only real difference I know of, but im new here too.. just bought her a cpl weeks ago

Good luck if your looking for 6 speed and navi, you'll need it

Its going to be 6spd for sure. As for navi if the deal is good I would go for it but other than that its not on my must have list.

Do 06' have the lip kit option?

the 06.

it has better airflow than the 04/05's (larger diameter piping with intake/throttle body, less-restrictive cat and exhaust), and you can reflash the ecu with hondata.

07/08's are just like the 06's, but it also comes with TPMS, which is kind of a nice convenience, but the ecu changed for those years and aren't reflashable.

so get the 06.

You could also purchase the Upgraded parts that come with the 06 if you purchase an 04.

Or if you go with the 06+ you can always swap on an 04 bumper if you want that.

The 06s were alittile out of my price range... The 04 cost me 20+ as it was.
