Re: 2010 J Motor USDM TSX
I think I'd actually consider buying one of these.
In my mind I'd already ticked a box that said I'd look out for the arrivals of the TL 6-6 SH-AWD this coming Fall. But the TSX has an appeal for some reason. Smaller, cheaper, and better fuel economy with a decent amount of power.
I dunno. I'm thinking about it. :-)

There might be too many choices in the Fall 2009.
Rumours are still flying around about major changes to the RL, and there's supposed to be an all new Civic line, too.

Re: 2010 TSX gets the TL's 3.5 280HP V6
I heard wildly varying reports of the new car in the NAM. The same thing happened with the DC2 ITR motor, which was mostly hand assembled just like the GT-R motor.
I don't know if you were around to remember this, but we'd get Dynojet numbers from a low of 156 HP to a high of 178 HP, all on different fairly new DC2 ITR in 2000 MY, and all run on the same machine in Virginia.
So the SAE Net HP of the 2000 ITR could be anything from maybe 208 HP to maybe a low of 180, not much more than a GS-R.
I dunno.
When you introduce the human metric, all kinds of things seem to happen.

Re: 2010 J Motor USDM TSX
They're just too conservative, too tech oriented, too quiet for the price range in which they compete.
As an aficionado of Honda-Acura, I understand them and I would buy one. I'm afraid, though, that this is not true of most of the NAM.

JDM
New Civic has strange proportions but good details and size
New TL + TSX look too bulky and have ugly details. No hope for help

I guess you're going to have a complete heart attack when you realise that the 2010 FMC Civic is going to have the power trapezoidal grille.
