18x9.5 ET30 w/ 235/40/18 - Will they fit? (NOW FITTED! CHECK PICS!)
Hi guys
I am from the UK, so have a 2006 Honda Accord Type S. Due to the fact there isn't many Accords in the scene over here, there's not much information going round about what will fit and what won't.
I have included pictures below of the wheel fitted without the tires, so we could get an idea of clearance. I am getting the arches rolled and pulled this Saturday. They do poke out a lot, however I will be running a mild stretch tyre 235/40/18, so hopefully with the pull it should tuck enough to be drivable.
The thing I am worried about is the fronts, I know the rear will tuck nice and they naturally change to about -2 degrees camber or more. The fronts barely tuck in even when slammed.
From your experience what issues would you say I would run into and what are the solutions to go with them.
Thanks a lot for your time! Any input would be much appreciated! Cheers
This is how low she stands at the moment...
Oh and these are the tyres I will be running.

Hi,
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I was just wondering what the width of those wheels were and what brand they are. Do you have lower springs? I've got a 2008 V6 that I want to spice up.

isnt oem tire size 225/40/18? why go with a taller tire, especially with that stance?
EDIT: i guess there are a ton more tire option in that size. and 235/35/18 is much smaller than stock. good luck with it

Yea the rears should be fine, as I'll be getting them rolled and pulled so they don't foul on the fenders. It's the fronts I'm worried about :/
The stock wheels and tyres are 17x7.5 ET55 with a 225/45/17 tire.

You'll be fine if thats how the car will sit. I would advise you get front upper control arms. I have 18x9.5 +27 with 225/40/18. Camber Front -1.5 Rear -3. My rear only rub when i have people sitting in the back. Honestly I didn't roll my fenders. it naturally rolled it self.

Well they fit, but only with loads of camber!
I took the wheels off recently to sell them, as the 5 degrees camber on the rear was not making for a nice drive. However, since nobody has a grand to spend on wheels, I am now looking into getting my arches flared properly now. Here is my incentive...looking at the pics when they were on, looks soooooo good

Yeah I wouldn't wanna spend a grand on Rota's either... but they do look good...
I'm sitting on 18 x 9.5 all around +20mm rears and +28mm fronts with 215/40R18 and I don't really have rubbing issues unless 2 people in the rear and on steep drive way... Other than that I'm good! No camber Kit for me tho...
