What did you pay for your 08 tl?
My friend is in the market for a new 08 Tl type-s. We would like to know what kind of deals you've gotten, two local dealers are giving us a price of $33500, does that sound OK?

THat's before tax, not sure about credit score, but dealer is offering a 2.9% financing

That's for a regular TL prolly not for the Type-S. They start at $38K before tax, tag, and title. Cheapest I was offered a BRAND NEW Type-S for was around $35K before tt&t. You might wanna get that in writing if they're really offering the car to you for that cheap.

Yep, its a TL Type-S, he's picking it up on saturday, deal is done!!! They wanted 31k something for the regular TL

Good deal. I picked my 08 TL-S for 33.5k before registration etc. My OTD price was about 37k

It's that time of year, though, and publicity for the 2009 TL has started to hit.
Even the best selling cars are going to be hard to get out the door at sticker under that combination of conditions.
I love the TL-S 6-6. I think it's a great combination of features and horsepower, combined with Honda reliability.
Really hard to beat at the prices they're going for.

It probably has about as much HP as you could ever put in an FF car that size, even with the Torsen unit.
They're surprisingly capable on the track and in the hands of a decent driver, you will be very surprised. A 6-6 car with Brembo brakes could be hard for more overtly capable cars to keep up with.
I only <u>gradually</u> pulled away from that TL-S 6-6/Brembo as the laps wore on, even though he had a 200# instructor with him.
It probably has about as much HP as you could ever put in an FF car that size, even with the Torsen unit.
They're surprisingly capable on the track and in the hands of a decent driver, you will be very surprised. A 6-6 car with Brembo brakes could be hard for more overtly capable cars to keep up with.

That's not a TL-S, that's a 04-06 model, Type S debuted again in 07.
